The InterContinental Montreal is proud to announce the completion of a $3 million renovation to 13 of their spacious meeting rooms. The property’s conference centre, which is located in the historic part of the neo-Victorian Nordheimer building, now features updated décor and enhancements to the technology in the meeting rooms to further provide an effective solution for both meetings and events.

The new meeting facilities at the InterContinental Montreal are appointed with the audiovisual equipment to ensure the success of any meeting or event. Far from the cold and soulless conference centers, guests can now enjoy full autonomy by being masters of their time, budget and environment. Elegant service stations, designed to receive six luxury WMF (German manufacturing) coffee machines, are located in the foyer of each floor to provide guests with convenient access to coffee and refreshments at any time. Permanent induction hobs, produced by Voolrath, are also designed to accommodate the hot buffets and offer the highest quality of food. In addition, each room is equipped with a touchscreen that allows guests to control the ventilation, background sound, brightness and temperature. Meeting and event planners will also benefit from an all-inclusive food and beverage offer designed by our Executive Chef Matthieu Saunier, in collaboration with today’s best experts in hospitality.
A large library and crystal chandelier hanging in the luxurious verriere of the third floor, both are two new additions incorporated into the meeting facility to enhance and complement the beautiful décor, and architecture of the historical Nordheimer building, which boasts magnificent woodwork, large windows and underground stone vaults that date back to the 18th century. Guest will find the new soft carpeting, light coloured wallpaper, new fixtures and contemporary furniture a perfect harmony between a rich historical heritage and the freshness of a contemporary design.
