In alignment with its new brand, this fall SITE will debut a comprehensive education curriculum designed to elevate the knowledge and competency of incentive travel professionals worldwide. All three tracks will be previewed during Smart Monday at the start of IMEX America week in Las Vegas. The courses will also be offered at the SITE Global Conference 2014, 14-17 November in Rotterdam, Netherlands.
“While a number of industry associations offer education focused on meeting planners, SITE is the only global organization dedicated to providing education specific to the incentive travel segment of the MICE market,” said Kevin Hinton, “The new SITE education has been designed to provide global incentive travel professionals the theory, essential skills and practice on the sales, planning and execution of incentive travel programs that drive business results. These courses are our next level of education, the follow-on to many of the topics that we cover in our entry-level certification, the Certified Incentive Specialist (CIS).”
The mid-level curriculum is comprised of three key tracks, each containing 3-5 courses, geared to specific industry disciplines. It is anticipated that there will be more than 15 hours of unique coursework that will provide continuing education credit (CEs) for meeting and incentive travel professionals.
