The Global Business Travel Association (GBTA), the voice of the global business travel industry, has announced a new panel to be featured on Centre Stage at GBTA Conference 2017 Toronto, May 23 – 25: Innovation Leaders of Today.
The Wednesday morning panel will feature prominent industry executive leaders discussing the impact of innovative technology on the ever-changing travel landscape.It will be moderated by BCD Travel Director of Emerging Technologies Miriam Moscovici.
Panelists include:
- Dan Ruch, Founder & CEO of Rocketrip
- Frederic de Pardieu, Founder & CEO of mTrip
- Jordan Kobert, Head of Product, Urbandoor
- Ron Shah, Founder & CEO of Bizly
“As the introduction of technology-based providers to the travel space continues to grow, companies increasingly turn to innovation to address current challenges,” said Nancy Tudorache, director of operations for GBTA Canada. “We look forward to hearing these industry leaders’ unique insights into the challenges and opportunities of shaping the future of the travel industry through the use of innovative technology.”
History-making Canadian Astronaut Julie Payette will also be in attendance, as a featured Centre Stage speaker on May 24. Payette was the first Canadian to board the International Space Station and participate in an International Space Station assembly mission. Over the course of her career, she has served as a mission specialist, a flight engineer responsible for the station systems, supervised the spacewalk, operated the Canadarm, and helped to install scientific experiments. Payette has logged over 600 hours in outer space.
