Submissions are now open for the 2021 ILEA Esprit Awards.
Held annually by the International Live Events Association (ILEA), the awards program recognizes exceptional individual and organizational achievements from many facets of the events industry.
This year, the awards are open to the entire events community and include five new categories that celebrate unique accomplishments in 2020: best corporate social responsibility; best diversity, equity and inclusion initiative; best hybrid event; best industry adaptation; and best virtual event.
In total, there are 34 different categories that honour events of varying types, budgets and production elements.
ILEA has created a comprehensive entrant reference guide to help determine the appropriate category for entry. It contains specific information about each category, including what judges will be reviewing in the submissions.
The deadline for entries is March 15; however, late submissions will be accepted through to March 31, for an additional $50 US fee. Cost per regular submission is $200 US, with an ILEA member rate of $100 US.
The awards celebration will take place Aug. 11.
