Hosts Global has debuted a new collection of global destination management companies (DMCs), adding 70 to its portfolio.
“Groups are excited to gather again and we’re ready with new places, new members and new possibilities,” says Marty MacKay, Hosts Global’s president of alliance events and operations.
With the increase in vaccinations and travel destinations continuing to reopen, meeting and event planners are penciling in group events again.
The announcement marks the first of Hosts’ new developments to meet this resurgence.
From the start of the pandemic, the company has worked on reconfiguring its global event solutions to meet clients’ ever-changing needs.
“Though travel was on pause, Hosts was not,” says Hosts Global CEO, Jennifer Patino. “The meetings and events industry is starting to see a significant rebound in group business requests. This is just the beginning — not just for the industry but for us. We’re setting the stage for more big news to come.”
Hosts Global is a strategic partner for meeting and event planners worldwide, helping visionary planners deliver meaningful, memorable and motivating group experiences in destinations around the globe.
In 2011, the company transformed from USA Hosts to Hosts Global. Since then, it has experienced extraordinary growth and continues to innovate through industry-leading initiatives.
“The DMCs in our Hosts Global Alliance are not just destination experts, they all deliver fresh perspectives and the ferocious creativity Hosts Global has become known for,” says MacKay.
