The International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE) has partnered with services contractor Fern to offer a premiere chapter education series that enables industry-leading content to be provided at a local level.
“It is important to us to provide the best and most pertinent education programming to our members, especially as our industry strives to recover from the challenges faced in the past year,” says IAEE vice-president of learning experiences, Marsha Flanagan. “In the five years the chapter education series has been held, we have seen that the wealth of information provided in the program serves to strengthen our members’ professional portfolios in both the short and long-term future.”
Through the support of Fern, IAEE’s national headquarters will fund the costs associated with the program, including speaker fees, travel and accommodations.
“Education has long been at the core of what we do as an industry, and IAEE has continually been at the forefront of education for exhibitions and events professionals,” says Fern CEO, Aaron Bludworth.
Chapters can choose one free program from more than 30 presentations. Topics range from tactical crisis communications to working with exhibitors in a virtual world to sponsorship trends.
Speakers include SMB Strategic Media CEO, Shakira Brown; CSG Creative president and CEO, Paige Cardwell; Swapcard account manager, Bob Chain; Exhibitors WINH trade show strategy specialist, Robyn Davis; FazeFWD principal, Meg Fasy; Watermark Rick Management International vice-president of business resiliency, Jenni Hesterman; expert connector, author and coach Ginger Johnson; Sponsorship Boost president, Jennifer Kerhin; Patay Consulting chief strategy officer, Kate Patay; Pathfinder Writing and Career Services chief resume designer, Dawn Rasmussen; and P3 Solution founder and CEO, Sherron Washington.
