Cvent has extended its partnership with the largest global meeting and event industry association, Meeting Professionals International (MPI), through to 2024.
“MPI has remained steadfast in its commitment to creating a community that advances the industry and the careers of the people in it,” says Cvent CEO and founder, Reggie Aggarwal. “After what’s been a difficult last 18 months for meeting and event professionals, it’s more important than ever to continue this mission. We’re proud to support MPI and their 60,000 community members around the world, so that they can continue to produce engaging experiences that educate and inspire.”
Through the partnership, MPI will continue to leverage Cvent’s event marketing and management platform, including event registration, mobile event apps, on-site solutions, speaker and exhibitor management, and more. By utilizing Cvent technology, MPI leaders can more efficiently and effectively market and manage their events, increase membership engagement and grow overall event impact. In addition, MPI’s nearly 70 chapter organizations get preferred access to Cvent’s technology with additional benefits for individual members, including exclusive Cvent certification and training opportunities.
“As a market leader with decades of experience, (Cvent) has the deep industry insights and innovative technology MPI needs to elevate and expand on our mission to connect the global meeting and event community to learn, innovate, collaborate and advocate,” says MPI president and CEO, Paul Van Deventer. “Technology plays a critical role in our ability to deliver impactful experiences to our members and with Cvent as our partner, we’re well-positioned to deliver exactly that now and for years to come.”
