Cabot Cape Breton has tied with Fairmont Banff Springs for Best Canadian Hotel in Hemispheres magazine’s 2021 Readers’ Choice Awards.
“This recognition is a testament to our dedicated team who are committed to delivering exceptional service and helping guests create memories that will last a lifetime,” says Ben Cowan-Dewar, CEO and co-founder of Cabot.
Located on more than a mile of sandy beach along the coast of Cape Breton Island, N.S., Cabot Cape Breton has garnered international acclaim as one of the premier destinations in the world. The resort includes a 72-room lodge with ocean views from every room, 19 golf villas, two golf courses, a newly opened 10-hole short course and dining in three on-site restaurants.
Hemispheres’ second annual Readers’ Choice Awards recognizes the world’s top hotels, resorts, destinations, cities and more, based on the results of a reader survey.
This is the first time the magazine has ever had a tie in voting.
The other winner, Fairmont Banff Springs, stands in the picturesque alpine town of Banff, Alta. The hotel features 757 guest rooms and suites, and a championship golf course.
