In her new role, Powers will lead the operational strategy, delivery, and execution of knowledge and education initiatives to enhance value for IAEE members worldwide.
“We conducted an extensive search to find the right fit for this important leadership role, and Stacy stood out as the clear choice,” said IAEE president and CEO Marsha Flanagan. “Her years of experience in both education and the association space, combined with her deep understanding of our organization and commitment to its mission, made her the ideal candidate. It’s especially rewarding to be able to promote from within and recognize the talent and leadership we already have on our team.”
Powers previously served as IAEE’s director of learning experiences, where she was responsible for the development and planning of IAEE’s education programs including Expo! Expo! IAEE’s Annual Meeting & Exhibition education, multiple Women’s Leadership Forums, IAEE Leadership Institute (formerly KLI), and IAEE webinar content.
