The Experiential Designers & Producers Association (EDPA) is launching its 12th official chapter: EDPA Canada.
The expansion milestone expands the association’s global community and strengthens its commitment to supporting experiential professionals across North America. The new chapter will connect Canadian members closer to EDPA’s network for education, advocacy, and collaboration, while strengthening the ecosystem of exhibit and event fabrication across the country.
EDPA Canada marks a new era of collaboration, growth, and shared purpose for the industry. The new chapter is building the founding board of directors to provide leadership in establishing local priorities and operations.
Board members currently include:
- President: Carissa Stewart, wonderMakr
- Vice President: Kim Davies, beMatrix Canada
- Membership & Growth (Member at Large): Gery Hunter, Hunter Expositions.
EDPA Canada is recruiting candidates for the treasurer and secretary positions, along with several additional Members-at-Large to support areas such as events and education, sponsorship and partnerships, communications, and future workforce initiatives.
“Our goal is to build a board that represents a cross-section of the Canadian experiential, exhibit, and events industry from across the country, and we’ve already begun reaching out to additional prospective board members,”. said Stewart. “We’re excited about the interest we’ve received so far and look forward to sharing more as the founding board comes together.”
Canadian members now have direct access to EDPA resources, educational events like the annual EDPA Access conference, and industry-wide research.
