EY Centre Names New Show Services Provider

Eastern Ontario’s largest exhibition centre has a new show services provider.

EY Centre announced its official partnership with Stronco on April 15.

“It was paramount for us to choose an experienced partner who has a depth of experience and reputation for service excellence to seamlessly support our customers through post-pandemic recovery,” says EY Centre general manager, Neill Bales. “Stronco’s solid roots in the industry, especially in the Ontario market, made (it) the ideal partner of choice for our facility. The Stronco team has serviced an array of shows in our facility over the years and we are looking forward to them establishing a local presence in the Ottawa market.”

Based in Mississauga, Ont., Stronco is the largest privately owned show services provider in the country. The company has been part of the Canadian trade show industry since 1952.

“We are excited and proud of our recent appointment,” says Stronco president and CEO, Ralph Strachan. “While our industry has undoubtedly been extraordinarily hard-hit by the pandemic, recovery is imminent. Setting up local operations in Ottawa is the logical next step for us as we prepare to support our industry’s reopening.”

Stronco replaces live event and brand experience company, Freeman, as the facility’s official show services provider.
