The Events Industry Council (EIC) is now accepting submissions for its Global Recognition Awards.
Held annually, the awards honour event professionals from all levels and areas for their exemplary achievements within the global business events Industry.
There are four awards categories this year: Hall of Leaders, Social Impact, Adaptation and Innovation, and Pacesetter.
The Hall of Leaders Award recognizes lifetime achievement for those that have had a legacy impact on the global business events sector.
The Social Impact Award recognizes extraordinary effort on the part of an individual or organization in the areas of people, planet and prosperity. Examples include work related to diversity, equity and inclusion in the global events industry.
The Adaptation and Innovation Award recognizes extraordinary effort on the part of an individual or organization in the areas of adaptation and innovation to ensure the industry’s relevance now and into the future.
The Pacesetter Award recognizes emerging leaders whose forward-thinking and innovative approach has led to ground-breaking changes that are advancing the industry today.
Submissions are open until Sept. 28.
Winners will be announced Nov. 7, at the EIC’s global awards ceremony, which takes place during IMEX America in Las Vegas.
