Live meetings and events may be hard to envision for the moment, but Club Med plans to re-vitalize the MICE community with the arrival of its first Canadian resort, Club Med Quebec Charlevoix, in 2021.

Slated to open in December 2021, the newest addition to Club Med’s mountain resort portfolio will offer a highly-curated experience that blends the Canadian outdoors with rich Quebecois Culture.
Ahead are six ways Club Med aims to make Quebec Charlevoix resort a must-book destination for your groups.
Easy access: Situated along the iconic St Lawrence River, Quebec Charlevoix resort is an hour’s drive away from the Jean-Lesage International Airport in Quebec City. In addition, the resort is in close proximity to a broad range of Quebec sites and urban amenities.
Room to breathe: Quebec Charlevoix is surrounded by the region’s serene natural environment. The intent is to give guests ample room to stretch out and enjoy the region’s unique sights, activities, and atmosphere.
“The relationship between the mountain and the river is what influenced this project,” says Jérôme Henné, Designer with the resort’s architect Lemay Michaud. “There are breathtaking views of the St. Lawrence River river from the mountain, so the idea was to have these views at the resort, too.”
An invitation to discover Quebec: The resort will provide guests with opportunities to enjoy Quebec’s great outdoors through year-round activities. Highlights include skiing alongside the iconic Saint-Laurent; sledding Le Massif’s 7.5-kilometer run; summer hiking, biking and kayaking around the scenic view of the Charlevoix region; culinary tours; plus a host of other experiences. Meeting planners can also draw inspiration from the province’s diverse attractions, including historical sites, cultural festivals, world-renowned restaurants, and vibrant nightlife.
Accommodations for all: Club Med’s newest MICE venue will feature family and couple rooms as well as a selection of Exclusive Collection Space suites.
The all-inclusive experience: Quebec Charlevoix will host a spacious lounge, an expansive gourmet restaurant with four customizable dining rooms, an on-site bar, an indoor swimming pool, a Nordic Spa, and an abundance of outdoor event spaces. During the winter season, groups will also enjoy the Club Med all-inclusive ski formula: ski lift, ski pass and lessons. Everything is included!
Cutting-edge meeting spaces: Quebec Charlevoix will cater to all groups with over 3,700 square feet of adaptable convention room space, a VIP boardroom, and comfortable lounge – all outfitted with state-of-the-art audio/visual equipment and views showcasing the nearby forest and St. Lawrence River.
