Québec City Business Destination has launched a new way to connect with Canada’s women leaders. This summer, the organisation recorded a podcast series spotlighting trailblazers within the business world, including the meeting and events community.
“There are plenty of stories to tell about women who have demonstrated incredible leadership in their respective fields, especially over the past year-and-a-half,” says podcast host Susan Prophet, Business Development Director for Quebec City Business Destination. “This podcast is our way of giving some of them within our network the mic to share their perspectives and inspire others.”
Entitled Conversations with women: Creative pandemic initiatives, the podcast includes interviews with business leaders from various backgrounds. Every episode hones in each guest’s experience throughout the public health crisis and uncovers the many ways in which they’ve overcome its challenges.
- Courtney Stanley, renowned keynote speaker, speaking coach, and host of the women-inspired podcast #DareToInterrupt
- Debbie van der Beek, President & Publisher for Ignite and Adrenalin magazine
- Roselle Martino, Vice President, Public Policy, Toronto Region Board of Trade
- Jennifer Glynn, Managing Partner, Meeting Encore
- And more to be revealed…
“Our goal with this podcast was to uncover common themes and challenges across different industries, and share these unique perspectives,” adds Prophet.
